Accommodation

We offer a wide range of accommodation including generously sized lodges and holiday caravans. We still get amazed by how many people think there are no toilets in caravans, no honestly it’s true.

So let’s put the record straight, all of our accommodation on the Isle of Wight have a toilet… some have two! In fact they have fridges, TV’s, knives, forks, cups, plates, pots, pans, microwaves and even a kitchen sink! They have everything you need to enjoy a great family holiday.

Attractions

Dinosaur island

Did you know that the Isle of Wight is internationally famous for its dinosaur remains? Dinosaur Isle is Britain’s first purpose-built dinosaur museum and visitor attraction. Based in Sandown, the story of the dinosaurs is displayed in the museum’s galleries for your learning pleasure. Just 5 minutes from Whitecliff Bay

Meander through…

Shanklin Chine at the southern end of Sandown Bay. Explore the deep ravine to find its secrets. Today, it’s one of the island’s top tourist attractions, but in wartime, it had a much more important function. Can you guess what it was? Just 5 minutes from Whitecliff Bay

Take a chairlift down…

to Alum Bay at The Needle Park to see the beautiful coloured sands. Watch craftsmen at work in the Glass Studio, browse the shops or ride on a real, old-fashioned carousel. So many pretty choices. Just 15 minutes from Whitecliff Bay

The Zoo on the beach!

The Isle of Wight Zoo is a family-run zoo with a special interest in tigers and lemurs. Built within the ruins of a Victorian fort that guarded Sandown’s coast, it faces one of the Isle of Wight’s nicest beaches. Just 5 minutes from Whitecliff Bay

Chug, chug

The Isle of Wight Steam Railway will engage, inspire and excite you... The sight of powerful majestic steam engines, the charm of quiet rural stations, and the friendliness of traditionally uniformed staff will leave you with fond memories of a special day out. Just 10 minutes from Whitecliff Bay

Dominating Sandown seafront

It’s the only amusement pier left on the island. Home to traditional slot machines, arcade games, and crazy golf, as well as a funfair and fishing area. The pier also offers views across the whole of Sandown bay. Just 5 minutes from Whitecliff Bay

The heart of the Island’s History

Carisbrooke Castle is best known as the place where King Charles I was imprisoned. Children will love dressing up as Norman soldiers and meeting the castle’s donkeys. For the grown-ups, the new Edwardian style Princess Beatrice Garden is a joy. Just 10 minutes from Whitecliff Bay

Fun Rides & Slides

Blackgang Chine is an eccentric mix of exciting rides, goblins and fairies, dinosaurs, nursery rhyme characters, cowboys and Indians. Repeated landslides destroyed the original chine and a family-friendly theme park now takes its place. Imagination come to life! Just 10 minutes from Whitecliff Bay

As Royal love nests go, nowhere on earth compares to Osborne House. It was Queen Victoria’s and HRH Prince Albert’s favourite holiday home and you can glimpse what the private life of these fascinating characters was like. Not a bad holiday shack. Just 15 minutes from Whitecliff Bay
