Sandwiched between the historic towns of Rye and Hastings, Winchelsea Sands Holiday Park offers a range of onsite activities and facilities as well as being close to a number of fantastic local attractions.

Whether you prefer to stay on the park and take advantage of the entertainment or would rather explore the 1066 country of Rye and Hastings (including art galleries and a castle) a visit to Winchelsea Sands is highly recommended.



By Car

Follow the M20. Leave the M20 at junction 10, then at roundabout take the 4th exit onto Bad Munstereifel Road. At roundabout take the 2nd exit onto Bad Munstereifel Road - A2070. Branch left, then at roundabout take the 2nd exit onto the A2070 (signposted Brenzett). Entering Brenzett at roundabout take the 2nd exit onto Straight Lane - A259. Entering Rye, at miniroundabout turn left onto Fishmarket Road - A259. At mini-roundabout turn left onto Winchelsea Road - A259 and turn left onto Sea Road. Bear left onto Sea Road. Entering Winchelsea Beach, continue forward onto Pett Level Road. You have arrived at Winchelsea Beach.

All grades will come with a fully fitted kitchen which has pots & pans, cutlery, crockery, a cooker, toaster, microwave and kettle. A small fridge freezer, toilet, shower room facilities with a Flat TV and heating in the lounge. If booking a Silver accommodation your check in time is 3pm, with gold grades you will receive additional heating in the bedrooms, beds made on arrival (if linen is purchased), an early check in of 2pm and a DVD player in the lounge too.


Battle Abbey

On 14 October 1066 an army of invading Normans defeated the English at the Battle of Hastings in East Sussex. Now the whole family can discover the exciting story of that fateful day at the very place it happened.

Clambers Play Centre is the ideal family attraction and children will love the play centre, there are plenty of play areas and will keep children entertained for hours.

Hastings Castle

Hastings is famous for it's Battle of Hastings and a visit to the town with it's castle, old town and beaches is a must for any visitor to the area and is only 4 miles from the holiday park, the famous smugglers cave is also nearby.
