This excellent parc offers many amenities for the whole family, including both indoor and outdoor pools, a well-stocked fishing lake and a super childrens play area. There are also a myriad of places to visit nearby. To minimise traffic, there is a designated parking area when you are at the parc. At the end of a busy days sightseeing, the cosy Koningshof Taverne makes an excellent place to relax over a pleasant evening meal. Nearby Amsterdam is a famously liberal and cosmopolitan city, with a wealth of amazing architecture and of course, those wonderful canals. Alternatively, you may prefer to explore by bike, and youll find safe and well-marked cycle tracks.
Choose to fly-drive with airports at Amsterdam and Luxembourg. Or ferry crossings to Zeebrugge, Rotterdam or the Hook of Holland are available.
The Keukenenhof Gardens in spring are a display of more than 7 million bulbs held at Lisse from 24th March to 20th May; National Windmill Day is held across Holland on the 9th May, and the Holland Festival in Amsterdam from the 1st to the 26th of June is the biggest arts event in the Dutch calendar, with a wealth of cultural events on offer.
