I went through the booking system and received a date and a park. (No option to specify an accommodation type). When I received my confirmation email from Haven it stated that I had an apartment and that I had the option to upgrade to a caravan. When I called Haven they told me I couldn't upgrade to a caravan. Is this false advertising? I would rather have a refund but the t&c's do not allow refunds. Should I report the sun or haven to trading standards?

Nothing to do with the Sun, it was Haven that said the upgrade was available
Could complain but they could simply say the upgrade was available at the time they sent the email but when you got through the upgrades had sold out
