beautiful park, beautiful weather, STUNNING BEACH!!!!
Best haven site iv ever been too.so much to do, we had so much fun!!!! The park is clean, the caravans are lovely, the views are stunning.
There are 3 swimming pools (2 outdoor) with loads of different slides and a todder area. It was really warm which was great too!!! The club houses are so much fun and they have a seperate club for the kids in the daytime and evening. The kids activities are brilliant and the shows are fun in both clubs.
They have a brill selection of food on site and there are supermarkets near which was a bonus. They also have an open top bus that cones into the park and take you into the local town!!!
The beach is absolutly beautiful. bit of a slope to get to it but it's sandy, and the sea was great fun!!!
I'm going back ASAP!!!! I didn't want to leave! 100% recommend to families and couples!
We had a lovely holiday. The park is great for all ages- there's even a spa on site!
The beach is fab with direct access. Theres a lovely restaurant/bar overlooking the beach and the arcade is great fun.
The pool is brilliant and good changing facilities.
There's a Starbucks onsite and a shop- everything u need on one site. You don't need to leave the site at all. Caravans are clean and spacious with lovely views of the sea
Very clean great views
Caravan was very clean and tidy. Views from caravan were amazing. Great place, great entertainment, would highly recommend.
Perfect for families!
We stayed here for the first time this year, the local area has loads to explore, and the service on park was second to none- we ate on site and down the road at the thatched pub- amazing. The entertainment was excellent and the fact that the beach is down the hill was perfect for us. We were upgraded to a 3bed which was superb and we made full use of the swimming and leisure facilities- the kids said it was the best holiday ever, and for us adults it made it even better that everything was affordable!
Fab holiday for all the family
Second year at Devon cliffs on a sun holiday & intend to return next year. The park itself is massive with something for everyone to do & the "private" beach is beautiful. My toddler loved the entertainment as he loves to dance & the rest of us enjoyed the bar. All in all great holiday :-)
Excellent park with lots of activities for all ages.
We had a long weekend with our 2 teenage children. We went on the Segways and the High Ropes. This is our 3rd visit to this park and will be back again. With numerous bars and entertainment rooms there is plenty of choice and fun for all. I highly recommend this park.
JUST BEAUTIFUL !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
i have so much to say about this park and fortunately its all good !!! we go on sun holidays every year and this is by far the best park we have been to. (me my partner and 2 children) when we drove into the park i was amazed by the gorgeous view !!! The view from our caravan window was looking straight out onto the sea !! perfect waking up to that for 4 days :) the parks facilities are endless!! (we loved the pizza haha). the club is a very decent size and the entertainment for the kids is fab. (my then almost 2 year old and 4.5 year old loved it) the swimming pool is lovely too and my daughter loved the little play area in the pool !! theres lot of shops / towns nearby too if you feel like venturing out.i loved the fact the beech is virtually on the park !! and it was a beautiful clean sandy beech too !!! our caravan was lovely, loads of space and huge living area. very modern.
Fantastic Holiday in beautiful surroundings.
All staff extremely friendly and helpful.
Caravan out of this world and immaculately clean.
Amazing site for all the family.
Only downside is size of site and the hills.....
Amazing site, caravan room for improvement
Had a fantastic week in Devon at this camp site through sun holidays. Was very welcoming, loads to do whatever the weather and the private beach was gorgeous. Had family come with us who booked same rated caravan through haven directly and when it came to it there's was much nicer and bigger so was disappointed with sun for this. Been going on at least one a year, up to three a year for nearly 13 years and got to be one of top three camp sites I've ever stayed on and will return when back. Just think Sun should align ranking of caravans with the parks themselves to manage expectations
7 of us stayed here last year in October 2015, I got to say never been and all enjoyed. There was plenty to do in the arcades the entertainment was brill. The kids enjoyed even though they were tiny babies, they went swimming and really enjoyed will be coming again that's for sure. I highly recommend this holiday park!!!
only stayed for the weekend but had a great time. loads for the kids to do and great view. no need to leave the park, the only bad things i could say was that dogs are not allowed on the beach, which might not be a bad thing for some and if you forget to take your passes out on the night you can't get in anywhere without them.
Not the best.
Firstly, I would like to say that the facilities are quite good, although the caravan we were put in compares badly to the one we had the previous year at Mablethorpe considering we paid for the premium (or super premium as they renamed it last year), the caravan was much smaller, when you have a then 2 year old running around like a mad man, we really felt the smaller size.
Which brings me to my next point, there is a single softplay area that is totally unsuitable for toddlers, and when my partner went on following our little man around making sure he didn't hurt himself, she was promptly order off by the over zealous security guard. This made the entire complex pretty much a no go area for us as he would get upset every time he saw it and want to go on it. Considering it's pretty much standard practice for adults to supervise their own children at soft play centres, and at other Havens, these guys seem to have outlawed it.
But perhaps the worst thing about this holiday, and I hope the Sun publish this even though it is pretty negative, is the army's firing range near the beech. Pretty much from 9 in the morning until 6 at night all you can hear is gunfire. Luckily our son slept through it on his naps, but it certainly spoiled the holiday for the rest of us.
The beach is nice and very large, when we went there was plenty of room to spread out, and apart from the security guard all other staff were helpful but we rarely required any assistance to really put them to the test.
Long story short, I will never go back to this holiday park. Not suitable for anyone with a toddler. This year we are either going back to Mablethorpe to remind ourselves what Haven can do right, or risk it at another one and hope for the best.
Gave 3 stars because it is a nice park, just not suitable for us. If you can find out when the army using the training range I recommend you do so and then avoid those times.
