With a stunning coastal location at the foot of a mountain, Ty Mawr is a lively park that promises fun and activities for all ages. Kids will love speeding down the water flume in the indoor swimming pool and running around the adventure playground, while the whole family will enjoy exploring the vast range of beautiful beaches, seaside towns and historical castles off-park too. With a whole host of outdoor pursuits based in and around the Snowdonia National Park, from gentle walking to mountain biking, this is the perfect stay for outdoor lovers.
In 2020, more than £1.5 million was inveseted into Ty Mawr to create a range of new on park facilities for the whole family to enjoy. From the Arts and Craft Den and Sports Dome, both packed full with different activities, to our exciting Adventure Bugz and even a High Ropes course, there really is something everyone will enjoy.
Please note there are limited facilities open between 1 Nov 2021 - 11 Feb 2022 and 31 Oct 2022 - 10 Feb 2023 and no entertainment.

1. If travelling westbound on the M56, continue as the road merges into the A494 for North Wales/Queensferry. Continue on the A494 over the River Dee
2. Keep right on the North Wales Expressway for Conwy (A55) and follow this road before taking exit at junction 24A for Towyn/Llan San Sior/St George. Then, at the T junction turn right for Towyn
3. Turn left onto the Abergele (A547) before taking an immediate right for Towyn onto Gors Road
4. Continue along Gors Road and at the crossroads turn left onto Towyn Road (A548). Ty Mawr Holiday Park is on the left on this road.
There is a bus stop right outside of the parks main entrance on Towyn Road (A548), with service numbers X12 and 12 Sapphire by Arriva Bus offering return journeys to Llandudno and Colwyn Bay.
Abergele & Pensarn train station is closest to Ty Mawr. This station is located 1.4 miles away from park, or a 5 minute drive. The main lines from this station go to Holyhead, Manchester Airport, Llandudno and Crewe.
Liverpool John Lennon Airport is 55 miles from park, or just over an hour if travelling by car. You can fly into Liverpool from Belfast, London Stansted, Dublin, Isle of Man and Jersey - please see the airport website for more details.
