Wander the miles of coastal pathway running alongside the bay to soak up the beautiful open views and to spot unusual wading birds and even seals in the estuary below. Sunsets here are beyond memorable as the sparkling water-flecked sands light up in a palette of golden yellows and deep reds.
The location of some of the most renowned trials in British history, take a guided tour to discover the dungeons where the Pendle Witches were held before their execution and discover the living quarters of the judiciary and the crown court - which are still used to this day!
