Great way to see Paris and Champigny!
We stayed at the Paris Est camp site in Champigny. It was basic, no TV, but it was all we needed as we spent most of the day out and about in Paris and Disneyland. All the things that you expect from a static caravan site with the added bonus of outside decking and seating. The shop is quite expensive and on site facilities comprise of a bar and a play park. Regardless of this, we totally enjoyed our holiday, the weather was glorious, the staff and locals were extremely helpful and the sights were amazing. We drove to Disneyland, 13 miles away from the camp, but we used public transport when we traveled to Paris. Metro, train and bus, the number 101 stops outside the camp, are all linked and this made travel extremely easy - with use of a transport map, available from reception. I would recommend buying a day pass, also available from reception, as this allows unlimited travel on all public transport for a day. Eleven euros per adult and 7.80 euros per child (well worth the money in my opinion. There is a small supermarket a bus stop away from the campsite.
