If you want the best of both holiday worlds and the chance to split your time between the ocean and countryside, try Le Soleil des Landes. This parc is tucked 7 km away from one of the Cote d'Argent's most stunning beaches, set within 24 acres of woodlands. The water park on site is pretty impressive and was renovated last year, now offering: a heated swimming pool (with retractable roof), paddling pool and waterslides. The parc runs a free shuttle bus to Cap de l'Homy beach, which enjoys ideal summer wind swells for all you water sport fanatics. Yet to try sailing or surfing, but always fancied it? No problem. Take a short walk from parc to Lit-et-Mix, a local town that has a surfing school and training centre.
