Comacchio has a number of historical buildings to see, including the 17th century Church of the Rosary and the Cathedral of St Cassiano. There are lots of historical items of interest at Pomposa Abbey, a Benedictine monastery which is a lovely place to stop for a picnic.
A large theme park and water park, with lots of scary roller coasters, rides and shows. It has the one of the highest water coasters in the world, but there are also lots of family rides like carousels, ensuring that the whole family will have a great day out.
This fabulous city holds a wealth of attractions including the golden basilica of San Marco, the Doges Palace and the world famous Opera House. Venice is also the perfect place for a spot of window shopping. Look out for the mask shops for striking examples of masks worn at the annual Venice Carnival.
Sometimes referred to as Little Venice, Chioggia is a lovely place to explore and in the summer you can take the tourist boats from here across the lagoon. The morning fish markets and canals make for picturesque sights and there are some great seafood restaurants to try!
