Carlton Meres Holiday Park offers a tranquil woodland location with a host of great facilities, and is the perfect place for your relaxing family holiday.
There is a heated outdoor pool, a new indoor pool (built in 2019), a gym, an adventure golf course, and an adventure playground. The clubhouse was extensively refurbished in 2019 and hosts regular Kids Clubs (for children aged 5 14) and family entertainment.
The park is close to the Suffolk Heritage Coastal Region, including the much-loved seaside towns of Aldeburgh and Southwold, and theres loads of great attractions nearby.
The well-stocked fishing lake has a special appeal to anglers, with a mix of fish breeds available to catch, including Carp up to 40lbs in weight. Pit your wits against other anglers with the regular fishing tournaments.

Do not follow your satnav for the last part of your journey as it will lead you to Lonely Farm campsite behind the park. Make sure you follow the signs for the park and turn right at the entrance for Carlton Meres Country Park. From the North Follow A12 towards Ipswich Turn right onto B1119 towards Rendham Rd (Signposted Framlingham) Turn left onto Rendham Rd in 1/2 mile Continue straight onto Carlton Ln following signposts for Carlton Meres Country Park
The nearest railway station is Saxmundham train station located 2 miles away from the park. While you can walk from the station, we would suggest getting a taxi to pick up and drop off as the park is set along a narrow country lane. Saxmundham is on the Greater Anglia line from London Liverpool Street but requires a change at Ipswich station.
The No. 64 bus runs from Ipswich to Saxmundham on an hourly service.The nearest bus stop - is located 1.8 miles away from the park, ask the driver the stop in long avenue.
